At the Tikkun Conference

We have just been at the annual Tikkun Family Conference which was held in a wonderful place near Baltimore, Maryland. How appropriate to name this year's conference, "Refined for Glory".

On the weekend I gave the opening message on Friday night about learning to trust God in the midst of adversity, Eitan Shishkoff gave an excellent message on becoming a hero and Peter Loth finished up Saturday with a moving message about forgiveness. He is a holocaust survivor with an amazing story of survival. On Sunday morning Dan gave one of the most powerful messages about God's love and how going through trials refines one to become a great soul who can love with deeper compassion. Many were set free and were so blessed by the worship and ministry as well. In a couple of weeks you should be able to obtain the messages from the conference here on our website. It would be well worth it for you to download these messages.

Also this year we celebrated together, as a family of congregations and ministries, the fortieth anniversary of Dan and I being in ministry together. We were even able to surprise Dan. How wonderful to share in this special celebration with our covenant brothers and sisters, some who have walked together with us for over thirty years! Many sent in videos and encouraging words. Plus, we had some surprise attendees of long time friends from New Jersey and Chicago.
