Using G-d's Name Lightly or Wrongfully

One of the basic Ten Commandments specifies that we should not mistreat G-d's nae. But how we do put this into practice?

I look at the various texts, at contemporary Jewish practice and see how both good and bad behaviour by those known to be a follower of G-d have an effect on G-d's name.
