Teens Taste "Last Days"

When we chose the theme of "The Last Days" for our national teen summer camp, we had no idea that the camp would open on the same day as rockets from Hamas would start pouring down on Israel.

Our goal was to equip the young people for an eventual end-times scenario.

But it certainly turned into a all-too-true nightmare scenario as a rocket thumped into the earth less that 1.5km away from our bomb shetlter in the middle of a message encouraging the teens to decided where they stood with God. Amazing punctuation!

Here, an unseen enemy (which turned out to be a renegade group of Palestinians firing on Israel from the Lebanese border) accelerated the entire "lesson" to a degree we could not have imagined.

Read the full account of the camp and se our photos here and make sure you comment here or on the bottom of the article!
