Hebrew Roots of Ordination

We can learn a lot from the Hebrew used in the Bible and the word for "ordination" is no exception!

Authority and anointing come from God, and are passed on to people together with the personal affirmation of those involved.

Ordination is recognition of what G-d has done already and will do in the future.
