Rest for the land

Our Torah porrtion this week starts with laws on Shabbat and rest for the land. This is a topic which is addressed more than once in the Torah, which means this is an important principle. You can see the daily Parasha and Bible reading plan for this week and here is the drash for B'har/B'hukkotai.

Please pray for the network this week ...

It's a quiet week around the network, with Ohev Yisrael having Men's Fellowship Breakfast this morning Adat Chaim serving at CrossRoads Christian Fellowship on Wednesday. As Thursday is International Day of Prayer, Brit Hadasha are having a special prayer time 7-9am Please pray for the team who are planning for the Tikkun America Restore Conference later this month and that the details will be coming together smoothly.

The Bible verse for this week is ...

"And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." (Galatians 6:9-10, NASB)

It can be easy to lose heart in doing good, but this week let us not turn down opportunities - let us do good!
